El artículo presenta la descripción, funcionamiento y demostración de utilidad de un sistema de monitorización aplicado en actividades de desprendimiento y vuelco de un panel representativo de una fachada a escala real, haciendo un seguimiento de los niveles de vibración e índices de inclinación. Tras días de funcionamiento y observación visual, se pudo comprobar que gracias al sistema es pudieron correlacionar los niveles de vibración con daños incipientes, estableciendo los valores aceptables para los umbrales que activen las alarmas necesarias en tiempo real para el buen desarrollo de los de los trabajos.
[:en]The GIR GPA has published in the journal Buildings, the article entitled «Design of an instant vibration-based warning system and its operation during relocation works of historic facades«.
The paper presents the description, operation and demonstration of the usefulness of a monitoring system applied to the detachment and overturning activities of a representative panel of a full-scale façade, tracking vibration levels and inclination indexes. After days of operation and visual observation, it was possible to verify that thanks to the system it was possible to correlate the vibration levels with incipient damages, establishing acceptable values for the thresholds that activate the necessary alarms in real time for the good development of the works.
