On February 7, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11), Professor Lara del Val, from the GIR GPA, together with Professor Noemí Merayo, from the GIR Optical Communications Group at UVa, conducted a Morse Workshop for children in 4th and 5th grades of Primary School at CEIP Antonio Machado in Valladolid, as part of the initiative “An Engineer in every School”, promoted by the Association of Women Researchers and Technologists (AMIT) of Castilla y León
